Zahira College athletes recently competed in the National and Junior National Long Course Swimming Championship 2026, held at the Sugathadasa Swimming Pool Complex from July 30^th to August 3^rd, 2026.

• ​Junior National Results: ​S.S. AbdulRahman delivered a strong performance, securing a medal and multiple top-ten finishes:
  • 200m Backstroke: Bronze Medal
  • 100m Backstroke: 4^th place
  • ​50m Backstroke: 9^th place
• ​Senior National Results: M.A. AbdurRahman also represented the college with distinction:
  • 200m Butterfly Stroke: 6^th place
