Master Thariq Preena has achieved an outstanding milestone by scoring 5 points out of 7 matches to qualify for the All-Island Individual Chess Championship 2026, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Chess Association held at Ananda College, Colombo from 12^th to 14^th June 2026.

This remarkable achievement reflects his skill and commitment to the game of chess. The achievement brings great pride to Zahira College and will uplift the interest of fellow students.
