Zahira College recorded a historic victory over St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya after a lapse of 28 years, securing a thrilling 38–34 win in a closely contested Dialog Schools Under-19 Rugby Cup Segment match played at Bambalapitiya on 6^th June 2026.

The Tankers brought an end to Bamba Brigade’s unbeaten run with a disciplined and commanding display from the opening whistle through to the very end.

This memorable triumph will undoubtedly boost the team’s confidence and spirit and serve as a significant milestone as the tournament progresses. It is a victory that will be remembered with pride for years to come.
