We at Zahira help students stay focused on their goals as they advance their knowledge, skills and abilities. This helps students to fulfill their inner potential and develop social skills to become confident, responsible young Sri Lankans of tomorrow, who will be assets to their families, professions and the ever changing world at large.

At Zahira College, A Level is offered in all three mediums, i.e. English, Sinhala and Tamil and the students can choose between Science, Commerce or Arts  Stream based on their GCE O’ Level results. Our highly qualified staff and their dedication to their subjects is infectious, opening up a vista of possibilities for investigation both in and outside the classroom. In addition to this, a separate A Level building with 3 fully equipped science laboratories and large ventilated classrooms are just perfect for our students who are often found exploring themes outside fixed syllabuses as part of the wide curriculum of which we are justly proud.  Apart from these, English Language and General IT are taught as optional subjects.

At the end of this stage, a strong and comprehensive educational foundation equips all Zahirians with the knowledge, skills and understanding of their chosen subjects preparing them to confidently sit the prestigious GCE A Level Examinations conducted by the Department of Examination, Sri Lanka and to pursue their Education further.
