The 72nd Independence Day Commemoration will be held under the patronage of the school principal Trizviiy Marikkar on 06th February 2020 at the College Grounds at 07.30 a.m. Chairman of Election Commission Mr.Mahinda Deshapriya will be the Guest Speaker.
Primary Prefects’ Investiture ceremony was held on 29.01.2020 at Prof. Furkhan Hall under the auspices of the College Principal. Master Shameem Rifqi was appointed the Primary Head prefect and Masters M.R.Ridha, M.F.M.Ammar and Ammar Manaz were appointed the Deputy Head Prefects of the Primary Section

The annual district camp, 54th Colombo Scout Camporee organized by the Sri Lanka Scout Association Colombo District Branch was held from 19th to 23rd December 2019 at Hindu College, Rathmalana. Zahira Scout Troops participated in the event.

The Annual Inter House Sports Meet (Post Primary) of Zahira College, Colombo was held at the College Grounds on Saturday, 25th January 2020 at College Grounds at 1.30 pm, under the patronage of Principal, Trizviiy Marikkar. Chief Guest, Mr. Julian Bolling (SAARC Gold Medalist-Swimming) . Angora
